Oncidium sphacelatum
Default Oncidium sphacelatum

Here is the only oncidium that survived my move from Atlanta to San Diego. I suspect the others preferred the cool, AC-controlled Hotlanta homes over the non-AC homes / outdoors of San Diego...

This Onc. sphacelatum grows like a weed outdoors here, full sun (ish). It's outgrowing a 12 in bulb pan... not sure what to do any more. I'm tired of dividing it haha...

Hmmm... what to do? Maybe just let it run wild, it will probably just grow outside that bulb pan. Will only be a problem if you ever have to move it. Fork lift maybe?
