Thank you! I do have some REPOTME oncidium small bark mix that I was planning on repotting with! And I water my oncidiums twice a week which in my house seems about right. They are just about dry every 3-4 days. They all seem to be doing well and growing. Hopefully they'll bloom!

Is it bloom now? I was thinking it was from the photo. If not, just watch for the new growth and new roots and repot when you get a chance. It actually looks like it's making new roots now, but you can see better than is possible in a picture.

It is not in bloom. I'll probably repot soon or in a month or so. It looks hastily planted in a random bark. It's in a black pot. Not a fan of that. I like clear so I can see roots...

Hello again Roberta! You mentioned this earlier in this thread but I just want to make sure...So a finer bark oncidium mix would be best for this orchid, the Heaven Scent Redolence? I also have a Twinkle Pink Profusion that came planted in moss which is not my favorite.
I have read that fine rooted orchids prefer fine orchid bark mix. I have repotme oncidium mix. Would you suggest that for these two orchids? I also have a phal mix...Thank you as always!

The finer bark is best for the Oncidiums. I do like bark better than sphagnum. I'm not familiar with the specifics of the repotme mix, but I suspect that it does retain a bit of water, which is what Oncidiums need. They don't like to be soggy, but should never dry out. The Phal mix probably dries faster - which is what Phals want, but the more water-retentive mix is better for the Oncidiums.
