Default Orchid Books for kids

Hi all,

My wife came across this book in the library for my 6 year old. She enjoyed it very much and seemed to have struck a cord with her. She was still talking about it the next morning.

The Legend of the Lady Slipper (Ojibwe Tale)

If you have kids and want to share your love of orchids with them use this book.

If anyone know of any other books like this, please let me know. Thanks!

Wow, that's cool!

I made a story (more of a script) about how the Vanda Tricolor came to be but it's in Bahasa Indonesia. I could translate it if you like.

Someone should make a compilation of all these stories and call the book " 'Chids for Kids"

Books are a great way to pique interest in various hobbies. I had a few orchids but I was not very interested in them until I read the Rex Stout mysteries. Those books changed everything. :|

It is always fun to find the mention of orchids in the world.

Here is a fun video on orchids that I found a few days ago:

I like MinuteEarth. That's also one of my favorite MinuteEarth videos (If you can't already tell).

I've been watching Minute Earth off and on since they started. My favorite is the rainforest one but I was really excited to find one about orchids.
