Definitely WW. Those 'night blooming Cereus' flowers are so beautiful. On par with lotus flowers. The Cereus are definitely tricky heheheh ..... can be easy to miss the flowering night for sure.

Time lapse photography provides a fantastic account of the flowering of Cereus. Really pretty indeed.

Hope this beautiful flower doesn't cause too much controversy. Its legal here and coming in handy during lockdown.

Ha! What DC said. And as a former hippie from the sixties, I approve this message.

Today's blooms... my fernleaf peonies. I've wanted this plant since I was in my twenties... finally got it about five years ago. They're gorgeous, I have absolutely no idea why they're stupidly expensive, and I'm glad they were given to me by a friend or I still wouldn't have them. Blooms are about size of a man's palm.

Double Fernleaf Peony (Paeonia tenuifolia 'Rubra Plena')

And here's my Itoh peony just starting to roll. It's a favorite. I bought it quite a number of years back... they were pricier then, and I remember getting a little quart pot with maybe three sprouts. Maybe $50? Now they're selling for $25 or so in some places. Go figure.

The bush...

Notice how yellow it is here when not fully opened...

And a couple of days later, picked and in da house...

And today, still a different color...

Gorgeous. Kind of weird rocky looking foliage though...

I had a couple of them similar... called Tequila Sunrise. Beautiful flowers, had them for several years. They didn’t make the cut when moving stuff to basement last year... got too heavy for us.
