For whatever reason the last few months I've been getting the ads again too and I have been a member quite a while. I'm just chalking it up to maybe they aren't monitoring anymore. Who knows, but I've heard of several people, especially a lot of the original members even having issues as well. Best advice I have heard is log in on a computer with a really good pop-up blocker. I'm just trying to ignore it and focus on the awesome info. Wonderful community visit annoying absolutely. Especially after we donated but at the same time ads or not. It's going to a good cause! And hey fingers crossed it will get fixed sometimes soon 🙂

I did this--I set up a monthly donation on 21. October 2023. However, I'm still seeing ads, and I don't have the orchid blossom next to my name. How long does it usually take for changes to my account to occur?

Hi Cassia... Last individual who attempted a forum sponser membership also had issues. The links, etc, appear to be broken. I have a contact message in for the board owner but haven't heard back. Meanwhile, I suggest you cancel your subscription until it is fixed.

Further info... I don't see your userID as having a transaction processed during the time period either, so you might want to double-check whatever you used as your payment method to see if the charge actually went through.

It went through. It's under my husband's name--we have the same last name, though. Thanks for the info--I will cancel it.

Grrr. I tried to pay NOT using PayPal, and it went through PayPal anyway, so now I've paid twice in just a few days. I just want to set up a monthly subscription under my bank. No links lead to that.

I also tried PMing Marty with no response. So I guess I'll just wait to hear back from him or you that it's all been fixed, @WaterWitchin.

It is very doubtful you hear from Marty. I cannot get him to respond to me. And it cannot be fixed by anyone other than Marty.

Please don't set up a payment. Cancel your payments through PayPal, not through here. There is no setting for a subscription utilizing your bank, and I would definitely not do that. IF it is ever fixed, I will let you know.
