Can't grow this genus but yours is wonderful! Always reminds me of an exploded red bowling ball!

Cute, but I don't see the bilateral symmetry that I thought was one of the diagnostic features of all orchids.

If you get really close, you can see it... Alas, my plant of this expired, but I did get a photo while it was alive.

Does anyone who grows this know if there are specifics for this variety that differs from other Mediocalcars. Andy's site mentions as a warmer grower than M Decoratum? But they all seem to be listed as 2000m and upward.
