New Macodes Petola cutting- help/tips Male
Default New Macodes Petola cutting- help/tips

I recieved a good sized unrooted cutting. I placed into a vive, standing upright with about 1" of the stem in spaghnum moss.

The tank is 75-95% humidity- the petola is not shaded, about 1 ft from 23w spiral compact flourscent- (100w equivalant) daylight bulb.

The leaves are starting to roll up a little, but there is no other noticable change since it went into the vive 2 weeks ago.

Is this normal for a cutting to get used to it's new home and start root growth with the leaves curling? Or is it too dry or too wet?

Dont want to lose this new plant-
Thanks for the help.

It will take a while to do any growing. But the cutting should root eventually. A little wilting and maybe even a bit of dying back is normal. Once it does get established it should be a perfect viv plant though, I love it.
