I did order from Redfern but get a surprise for import duties and taxes of almost €50 on top.
Thanks for the information. I did contact Redfern, and a very kind and helpful man told me that it's difficult to evaluate the taxes/duties owed since it differs per EU country... As far as I can tell, the Netherlands does not charge import duty on books and I only have 9% VAT to pay. He did say it's extremely confusing for them because some customers in the Netherlands had to pay extra tax/duties and others did not.

I think I will order from Redfern, even with the 9% VAT and shipping, it's still cheaper than the 2 EU options you give (and I have a discount coupon to use!).

My total number of species plants is somewhere around 800 but some species have multiple plants. I'll have to do a little data processing to find out the number of distinct species. I'm guessing 200-300. Now you have me curious...

OK... went through my database... total distinct species (alive, not necessarily bloomed) = 785. (I counted each species once, not counting different color forms, etc. ) Total number of species plants just shy of 1200. (Since the last time I counted, guess that I added a lot more species, so ratio of species to hybrids has shifted considerably toward species, hadn't realized by how much)
