Is that a drainage hole in the bottom of that pot?

Yes. It's a simple semi-hydro style pot. The hole on the side is so I can fill the pot up to the top when I water and it will drain through the side hole and leave a water reservoir at the bottom.

Did you drill that hole yourself? Just wondering about the type of drill bit. Love the orchids and the setup!! Those satellite dish orchids are always attention grabbers.
