Default One man's way to help with humidity

With winter setting in up here in Maine and with forced hot air heat, something had to be done to raise the humidy level. Even though I use humidty trays I found the humidity around this window was running about 40%.
I happened to go to the local Ace hardware store last week-end and this fountain was on sale. About 3 steps past it an struck!
So, a few hours later here is what it looks like.
Oh, total cost? Fountain including pump $17.85 with tax.
Humidity is now staying between 50% and 60%...lowest at night when fountain is not running.

Really ingenious idea and looks smart in that setting. Even if it didn't work it ads a flair to the display. Nice thinking.

That looks great, Al!

I must admit...when I sat at the computer just now with a pick-me-up cup of coffee, I misread the title of your thread.

My tired eyes saw:
One man's way to help with humanity

and I was wondering what you were up to!
