Cyms just scream "share me"... It's nice to be able to untangle roots and get them apart gently, but quite a few need to be "persuaded" out of their pots with a wood mallet, then deconstructed with a serrated-edge knife. Or a saws-all. They do recover.

Love me some sarracenia! I had a mini bog in a half wine barrel for a couple years in dry ass Colorado but sadly a harsh winter punched its card. Will likely try again soon. Beautiful stuff as always, DC!

I don't know what to say... just astounded by the different plants you have, and jealous, and words won't describe it. How fortunate you are to have grown up in a tropical wonderland environment.

The Sarraceniaceae.... I've tried so hard, and always fail, fail, fail. And crap, some are native here. I've given up.

DirtyCoconuts 05-27-2020 11:26 AM

of course, it is a dwarf royal Poinciana
