My three new pseudobulbs are still growing...no idea if there will be flowers, yet. :|
That would be all from the same spike/growth. Only get 1 per year it seems.

Hi there, I'm not really participating in this growing challenge but since I have a sophronitis cernua for about 2 or 3 years now, I thought "maybe I should post the picture here as well ".
It has finally flowered for the very first time for me, I actually have 2 of them, only this one flowered. Both are grown in a room that gets quite hot in the summer and we tend to lay it in a tray with water to let the treefern mount really soak up the water and then let it dry out again. The plant seems to be happy with it. plain old misting wasn't enough.

greetz from Belgium,
Dries

I keep checking mine but, so far, the leaves haven't opened. Drew, that was a fabulous show!

One of my growths has three buds, two opening right now, and I see buds peeking in one of the other growths, too. I will have to take a picture tomorrow when the light is good and the flowers have opened a bit more (hopefully the third bud will be open too). I really am grateful to this project for introducing me to this little orchid. I must admit, I was reluctant to buy it but I am so very glad that I did. It only blooms once a year and isn't fragrant but I absolutely adore it. Thanks to everyone who voted for it! Great choice!
