So, that is SH with rockwool cubes ??
I know all about jajajaha! Si, this is regular ol' semi-hydro with some rockwool cubes. Or garlic croutons, depending on perspective. The leaves do remind me of something one could see in a salad.

It was in with Tolumnia and Vanda, and now it's sitting with a bunch of Brassavola, a couple of Blc's, and a couple phrags. I don't really pay much attention to how much light unless something burns (but shhhhh, I will offend someone with that comment.) Everything gets south or west windows, plus LED strip lighting. Nothing fancy. If they aren't burning, they just get moved around depending on what's blooming or if its tall whether it will fit on a particular shelf. Organized whim and chaos.

The plants travelled from the Netherlands to the western most tip of Bretagne, then to the region of Lyon, then back to NL (so something like 2800km). And it got dumped out of its pot twice when taking everyone outside for watering.
that’s dedication!

Well, ta-dah...

Best I could take, picturewise, which isn't great. A couple more open on other side as well. Not super impressive. What's that saying... I washed my hair for this?... or something like that. Too small for my taste, even though the cataract surgery was great. I prefer not to need a magnifying glass to view my blooms.

Was sold as Phal deliciosa. Looks more like deliciosa var hookeriana to me. But I'm not even sure what those different distinctions are... someone want to enlighten me?

Nice blooms! I still have a lot of waiting to do before mine with be flowering size.

The standard species is the white version, and var. hookeriana is yellow, like yours is.

ww, i agree with you on this phal. glad we got a couple to join in a project, but not my favorite plant. yes, the blooms are small and they don’t last but more than a day or 2. but i gotta say, your leaves look great and the blooms are pretty nice, if admittedly a little boring. either way, nice growing!

Hey!!! My Deliciosa is in bloom again.... But I cheated, I was tired of poor flowers that died quickly so I put a booster on her.

I missed this when you posted it. How far are you from Mena, AR? When you see that leather-clad biker roll up you'll know you have a visitor.

Sade, yours looks so much better than mine, it's ridiculous. Maybe I got a dud.

About seven hours. Around eight to nine if you do scenic. World Famous Kickstart Saloon, home of the world's oldest motorcycle, is about ten city blocks from the house.
