Zygopetalum Adelaide Meadows 'Brabum' x Ptpm. Matthina 'Elizabeth' questions Female
Question Zygopetalum Adelaide Meadows 'Brabum' x Ptpm. Matthina 'Elizabeth' questions

Almost two months ago I got Zygo. Adelaide Meadows 'Brabum' x Ptpm Matthina 'Elizabeth'. It had one new growth, moderate in size, and several pbulbs. About 2.5 weeks ago I repotted it; this revealed an extremely pot bound plant but still good roots. I went up a size to a decorative ceramic "Orchid" pot the seemed to fit the bill. It didn't appear to suffer from this however after repotting I sprayed it (for a couple reasons) and left outside for many days (very cool evenings during that period), then I brought back in, and several days ago put back outside for the rain, which it did for a couple days.

The leaves on an older bulb died off which I at first thought was sun burn as I had left this in a bit brighter sun believing that's what it liked. But it does seem it died off naturally as other bulbs don't have leaves. My concern here is that the new growth appears to be forming a pbulb and what (I think) I know about Zygos is that they flower BEFORE they form their pbulb. So I'm wondering if this hybrid forms the bulb first then flowers or if this plant isn't going to flower off this growth.

If the latter is the case then I would like to know how to make this plant happier so it may bloom on the next growth. Also from what I can tell there's no residual stems on any of the other 5 pbulbs.

Does anyone else have this hybrid? Going to look into Ptpm...

...and of course I thought I took pics when I repotted like I did all the others that day, but no...
