Default Anyone keep Cochleanthes aromatica?

For people who have kept aromatica, can you give me some culture tips (growing habits, watering, fertilizer, dividing, lighting, temperature, etc)? Do they rebloom off old fans? Where do spikes emerge from?

I found some information on discolor and amazonica, but those got moved to the genus Warczewiczella so I'm not sure if they're applicable.

I don't know why some Cochleanthes got moved to Warczewiczella and this one didn't. I took a look at the Kew Checklist and for this one, Cochleanthes aromatica is the accepted name and Warczewiczella aromatica is a synonym. For the other two, it's the opposite... the Warczewiczella name is accepted and Cochleanthes is a synonym. So treat all of them the same... any differences would be very subtle other than one genus is easier to spell than the other.

I have discolor (which grows vigorously and is cold tolerant) and wailesiana which grows warmer. Looking up aromatica, it is probably closer to discolor in cold tolerance but certainly doesn't need cold. Your intermediate (mostly indoor) temps should be fine. Relatively shady. Likes to be on the damp side. Divide when it climbs out of the pot but bigger plants are more vigorous and floriferous (like everything IMHO) Flowers emerge at the base of the pseudobulbs. (So you have to pay attention or you might miss them) Again, I don't have that one, but mine I can't tell what's a rebloom from an old p-bulb and what is multiple flowers from a current one. Both of my plants do bloom more than once a year. Fertilize normally and lightly... my plants get very little and do fine. (True of my whole varied collection with the exception of Cyms and Catasetinae where I do give a boost)

They are wet growing plants. Sphagnum moss is a good medium but I've grown them in semi hydroponics.

Many thanks Roberta. Do you mean that the spikes emerge freely at the base of the fans, or out of the tube shaped leaves on the sides of the fan (asking since I seem to recall that some orchids do this)? I don't wanna brush a leaf and accidentally break a spike developing inside it.

They just pop out on short spikes. I looked around for a photo of one of my Cochleanthes that shows the habit and couldn't find one (all are flower closeups) but found a Bifrenaria and a Bollea that are in the same group, with the same flower habit. (probably have been reclassified anyway). I included the Cochleantes just for comparison though they don't show the "origin of the spikes that well Here are links:
