Hello! I have made a few posts already - and thanks for the help and advice. I wanted to introduce myself and also see if I could connect with others in my area. So any growers near Billings Montana?

Right now my collection includes about 6 different Oncidiums in semi-hydro, some species Phalaenopsis in spagnum moss, 3 paphiopedilum, 1 miltoniopsis, 1 dendrobium nobile, a den microchip, two cattleyas, and a few pitiful rescue Phals trying to make it in semi-hydro. I grow everything under artificial light in a somewhat sunny room.

I know there are orchid societies in Helena and Bozeman...but nothing in Billings?! Hoping we can change that.

I’ve been eyeing the Orchids Ltd website- but haven’t made it there yet... only a six hour drive LOL. Funny thing, there is an article in the latest AOS magazine that, I swear, has a picture of that place (with no caption) - but the author of the article was not from Montana... very curious...

Hello there Kat. I'm not to far from you. I'm down here in Buffalo Wyoming. There is a member on this board that is in Billings that grows in semi- hydro, but he hasn't posted in a while.

Welcome to the board and glad you found us. It's fun to have people close as where you and I are there are not allot of orchid growers.
