Hi everyone!

Just introducing myself. I've recently got badly bitten by the orchid bug! I allready have 14 orchids collected witin the space of a year, 7 of them in the last month and I can't stop! (Don't worry, I have enough space to keep them all happy)

I live in south africa where there is a limited range of orchids available so I am always excited to track down interesting ones.

I'm still new to this and will probably need a lot of advice!

Hi Lize

Welcome

The numbers of orchids we own grow exponentially until you don't have more space, time or $$$

You do have wonderful native orchids around there!

Sounds like an energetic list, to be sure. Yes we'd like to see pics. Do you grow in greenhouse? You say space is not a problem, that I'd like to see

Welcome to the board! I believe you are our first South African. Surely there most be some native orchids in Africa that have become available in the market?
