I am glad you are feeling better after your health setback. I had one myself, and am still having operations connected to it.

I also live in New Mexico, and keep my plants in "semi-Hydroponic" without the lecca balls. I find the plants need and want the natural bark, so I use orchiota, since it does not break down as fast. I've had experience with all they types except the vandas, and I am now favoring Phragsmipediums (you guessed it, I like plants that like to remain moist!)

Fortunately I am healthy except for the BPPV dizziness and fall/near falls. Have the blues from being stuck in the house and no volunteer work at the court house because the clinic I have coordinated for over 10 yrs was cancelled due to Covid.

In what part of New Mexico do you live? I am in Valencia County 20+ miles S of ABQ.

Hope your health improves soon.

Excellent to hear that BooBoo is doing fine Early! Gingercat is still doing great. She came up with a finger trick - where she raises her paw when she wants a cat biscuit hehe. Will do a video later to show. She becomes a paw raising machine - one raise of the paw for each biscuit!

Just a very quick followup post - about what I meant hehe.

I'm holding the phone-cam, and somebody else is feeding gingercat.

gingercat doesn't always just put the paw on a hand ----- she can even just raise her paw ----- which means she wants cat biscuits (when she does raise the paw in the air, or waves it around a little bit).

Default another Ginger Car

My daughter, a retired disable veteran, move to Alabama a couple of yrs ago. She has alway been alergic to cat. But decided on getting one. She sat for an hour with Abby at the shelter, found a ginger that did not produce red eyes and nose, and brought her home. Abby cat has been a life line for Connie. She is so inlove with her. Abby sleeps with her, wakes her up to demand a cuddle, or "more food." Calls her the Angel. Connie post on FB photos of her. Current ones is of Abby inspecting all the quilting blocks my daughter has started sewing.

Sorry to hear about your fall and so glad to hear you are recovering and home.

The little furry family members certainly enrich our lives.
