Default Greetings from DK

I just posted for the very first time in the Oncidium Alliance forum but thought I should introduce myself here as well.

I'm an American expat who has been living in Denmark for almost 17 years. I bought my first orchid - a little Phal - in a supermarket seven or eight years ago. Now i have a collection of 16 plants - five Phals, three Paphs, two Lycastes, a Cymbidium, a Brassavola (mounted), a Cattleya, a Coelogyne and a couple of tentatively-identified question marks.

My plants are a constant source of happiness and fascination. (And occasionally frustration.) There's nothing quite like seeing a plant flower for the first time. I'm currently waiting for my Cattleya iricolor - there are buds in the sheath...
