Hi. I'm new to the community and new to orchids. Both Of the species that I have listed were specimens that were found growing in the yard of the home that I recently moved into. I absolutely love them, especially the sacoila, which I hope to be able to keep alive and propagate.

When the sacoila was first found, I thought it a stalk of asparagus😆 perhaps left behind by the previous tenant. I decided to pot it up and see what developed, and now I'm glad I did! Wild orchid finds-img_20210425_124017724_hdr-jpg

Hi Beth, Welcome to Orchidboard!! I've moved your post to it's own thread in the introductions forum. Those orchids look really nice, I wasn't at all familiar with this genus! Those were certainly great surprises to have at your new home.
