Default Accidental Orchid Lover

Hi all! I'm a newbie from South Carolina. My mother gave me a Phalaenopsis orchid a couple years ago which I promptly named Goose given that his chances for survival in my hands were about as good as the Anthony Edwards character in Top Gun. Turns out I have a bit of a knack for growing and am now the proud mama of two additional phals (Thelma and George) that are doing phenomenally! I've recently rescued a 4th phal from my sister which is in REALLY bad shape, but she has a keiki and I am determined to save them both! In my desperate research I have found some great advise here and have decided it's time to stop lurking and start playing! So helloooooooo!!!!!

Welcome to the OB! Good luck with your recent rescue. It's funny how one orchid seems to multiply for so many for us.
