Default Newbie from Texas!

Hey y'all! I'm from Houston Texas and I'm new to orchid world. I purchased my first orchid a couple months ago and have been loving the journey. I can't wait to grow my collection and learn a lot from this forum.

Welcome! I am also a Texan, although I live in DFW area (in Grand Prairie). I know your climate in Houston is very different from mine, but it's great to see another Texan here!

Hi! Yes, Houston tends to stay pretty humid most days haha I'm happy to see other people around my area though!

Welcome, neighbor. I find myself in your area quite often for work. One piece of advice: take is slow. Orchids teach patience.

Nice. Has the orchid got a tag that has some information about the kind of orchid it is?
