Default Greetings from South Florida

Hello, I am a long time orchid lover and grower who has recently decided to get seriously into the hobby. For decades I have casually grown orchids under trees and on windows sills with varying results. I am looking to learn how to consistently get dazzling blooms and keep plants healthy year after year.

Welcome. Which part of the state are you in? East or west?

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

P.S. I am thrilled that my region (South Eastern Florida) is well represented on this board. Hopefully this will allow me to get advice tailored to the unique growing conditions of the region.
