Default Hello from Germany

Hi there,

my name is Leo and I am from the Rhine-Ruhr area in Germany. I am most interested in Cattleyas (especially rex), Catasetinae and Tolumnias, but recently, I am also fascinated by Japanese orchids. And basically, everything that has yellow flowers that do not stink (sorry Bulbos, but not in my room) is not save from me . I have built most of my small-ish () collection during quarantine in 2020/21, but I am not toatally new to the hobby (my first orchid rebloom was in 2017 and motivated me to get deeper into this family of plants). I think that is it!

kind regards, Leo

PS: I herefore apolagize in advance for any spelling mistakes

Thanks a lot you all ! I will try to post some pics of my plants soon!
As far as I know, my name Leo (kinda sounds incomplete in english, doesn't it?) really is the latin name for lions. My name is a short form derived from Leon(h)ard or Leonhardt which itself roots in Löwenherz = Lionheart. I'll try to live up to that orchid-wise

Welcome Leo

Your English, grammar and spelling, is better than a lot of native speakers! No apologies necessary. Be very proud of your language skills.

If my Spanish was half as good I'd be very happy

There are a few Leos in the US who aren't truncated versions of something else.
