Please help me to identify this Dendrobium orchid
Default Please help me to identify this Dendrobium orchid

I just purchased this orchid because of its petite size and shape of the flower and its fragrance. Unfortunately, it didn't have an identification tag with it. Please help me in identifying it. I think it's a dendrobium, but does anyone know what type. Thank you

Nice! Especially with the fragrance. This is a species or hybrid in the group called either spathulata or antennatum. Same group of plants, two different names.

Looks like a Dendrobium canaliculatum cross of some sort. Blue Twinkle is one of the more common ones, but yours looks a little different.

If you ever decide to divide this I'd be happy to trade you for a division. I have a few different canaliculatum crosses.

In terms of culture these tend to prefer heat and excellent drainage.

Thank you for your reply. I'll keep you in mind when I divide the plant.
