I can't help since there are so many oncidium hybrids that look alike. It is a very healthy, spot free oncidium with a new growth and the flowers are very pretty. Hopefully someone can give you a clue for your lovely gift.

To me, it looks like it could be an Oncidium Jungle Monarch

"Cambria hybrids
‘Cambria hybrids’ is the collective term used for a group of remarkable orchid varieties, many of which are nameless. Included under this heading are some very popular varieties such as Anna Claire, Bob Cat and Wild Cat. The varieties you will find in shops have been specially selected for their long lifespan and ease of care. ... etc."

This plant was grown in the Netherlands and sold in your country. Do you know if it came from IKEA?
I got the exact same plant from there. I never could find out its real name. It may be very closely related to Oncidium Jungle Monarch, but the flower shape of those two are different. Jungle Monarch has pointier petals.

Sadly, I had to leave mine in Europe when I returned to the USA. Wish I could have smuggled it back with me, it had a wonderful honey sweet fragrance in the morning.

Enjoy!
