Can anyone identity this orchid from it's leaves?
Question Can anyone identity this orchid from it's leaves?

Hi everyone,

I'm a relatively new orchid enthusiast and I just purchased this one from a nursery. It is not flowering and I would really like to know what genus of orchid it is so I can get it to flower. It seems to have a new little shoot growing in the front, if that helps for identifying it...

Thanks so much!

Hi,

Looks like a Phap. to me. You will expect some nice slipper looking flowers from this plant. As you research this plant you will see they live on the forest floor in Asia. Their roots grow in the leafy matter on the forest floor and they get very filtered light. I have many and they are just as easy to care for as Phals if not easier. Happy Growing

Yeah, that's a Paph. Easy to care for. It should present you with a nice slipper flower one day.
