You're probably looking online at Oncidium or Oncostele. Try looking for Phalaenopsis wildcat instead.

It looks a bit like a Phalaenopsis Lioulin Wild Cat. But who knows?

I think Waterwitchin is spot on. You were given the correct name at the store, but weren't searching for the name in combination with the correct genus! Mystery solved.

There's absolutely no doubt possible about the genus, your plant is a Phalaenopsis. The twisty/twirling stems are a marketing thing, growers stake the stems as they grow to make unique and attractive shapes. It won't look like that next time it flowers, the stems will be straight.

But there is no Phalaenopsis Wildcat. There is Brother Wildcat and
Sunlands Miracle Wildcat neither of which look like this plant.

There's also a Phal Lioulin Wildcat, which was the first thing that came up in the search results, and matches the OP's photo. Is available at numerous EU vendors so it's likely flooded the market here.
