Phal. Valentinii var. Alba Male
Default Phal. Valentinii var. Alba

Got this one in spike from oakhill about 2 months back and it finally opened up. It's (Phal bellina v. alba x Phal. cornu-cervi v. alba.) I took a whiff this morning and it smelt kind of citrusy. But then again my nose may be playing tricks on me. I'll give it another wiff in the morning.

Thanks for looking.

Marco did you put it in S/H, while in spike? Obviously it was OK with that! I think I have this cross also, but with the regular color forms.

The alba forms really make a beautiful flower.

Marco-
Even though this plant has alba parents, it is not an alba due to the reddish pigment around the column. It's close, but crossing two albas doesn't always produce alba progeny.
It is certainly a lovely flower............

Phantasm thank you. I didn't know that. That's how it was labeled and advertised. I will take a sharpie and erase the var. alba on the label. Thanks again.
