New phal with yellow spots Female
Default New phal with yellow spots

Hi everyone,
First post here, so please do let me know if I m doing anything wrong.
I bought for 3 euros this small phal 5 days ago in a shop in a metro station.
The shop had about 5 of this one, in bad shape and all with basal keikis. It was in a very very cold env, no natural light, and in the middle of cold drafts. So not ideal conditions.
I repotted and cleaned from dried and black parts.
What do you think of this yellowish spots?
Fungal or just poor care?
Thanks for your help!

The yellow spots are from too much light, heat or perhaps cold.

Keep a very close watch on the yellow areas.

Since you say they were in low light and cold, it could be bacterial rather than sun damage. If the yellow areas get any larger, I would be concerned that it is bacterial. If so, the leaf should be cut off with a sharp sterilized blade to avoid spread to the rest of the plant.
