Oh, it's not that impressive. I used my iPad Mini and its timelapse mode. It ran for about two days. I started it as soon as I saw the bud starting to open and I kept it going until the newly opened flower looked about the same as the other ones.

The nice thing about Apple's timelapse program is that it automatically collapse the images into around 0:30 seconds.

So cool! The other day I saw a clip like this on Instagram that someone did of their orchid bud opening...its very mesmerizing. I tried with my old iPhone 4s and a phal I had with a bud opening but apparently the app I was using (hyperlapse) quit at some point a couple hours in...lol. Awesome video though! :-)
