Default Phal Mini Mark flowers

I have two Mini Mark's in flower just now, here's just two flowers from one of them. I really love this orchid which tends to have between two and three spikes each time it flowers (I currently have two spikes on one and three on the other).

Way to go, Rosie. I'm still waiting for mine to bloom. Two spikes, one with five buds and the other with six so far.

Beautiful! I love these, and once I prove to myself I can keep a Phal alive longer than a year, I will look for one

Thanks everyone. I always love this one because it tends to have a lot of flowers open or not.

Someone commented once that these are one of the most likely to have root problems from overwatering. The roots are a very different colour to my others, a very dark green when wet and they do seem to stay that way a VERY long time before changing to silver. I'm thinking of trying one of them in lecca as that dries a lot faster.

More pictures, the flowers are starting to drop on the first one now and probably will soon on the second plant as well. But I got hubby to snap these pics a few days ago before they started falling. The spikes are coming from both and I have had them sitting together.

Wow, that's a great one! I was thrilled that mine had 7 blooms, but hopefully it will eventually grow big enough to put on a show like this. Any special cultural recommendations, other than not overwatering? You're obviously doing something right.

There are two plants here, however one had 11 flowers and the other still has 28 flowers. This is less than I've had in the past, but both blooming together made up for it

I find they are more prone to overwatering than other phals and I've heard others say that as well. Otherwise I just grow them with my other phals on the windowsills. Temps between 15C and 22C most of the year (might go higher on really hot days, probably only rarely drops to the bottom of that range). In an east window getting morning light.
