Default Phal. amabilis - moon orchid

Happy to have the national flower of my country, Indonesia blooming in my backyard. Native species of Java island. Indonesians call it 'moon orchid' although I see no resemblance to moon at all.

On windy day, the movement of the petals make it look like a white moth flying in the air.

2nd pict is unknown hybrid which very likely descends from Phal. amabilis. Looks more like a moon than its ancestor.

Kind of spooky looking, but very nice. Especially in your back yard.
