Default Cracked Spike

I was transporting my blooming Phal to my office and it looks like the spike cracked, can I tape it or super glue it so the buds open and flower?

I've done that before, several times over the years. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. Depends on how much tissue is left that's viable where the crack is.

It sure can't hurt, and I'd go for it. Scotch tape or superglue.

I usually use scotch tape.

If there is a lot of spike above the crack I would add a second stick or even tape a splint on the crack.

I leaned the hard way once and saved a spike only to have it completely sever with 14 open flowers lol. Sad
