effect of air conditioners on plants

Hi guys, I am not sure if this is the correct thread but since I grow under lights, I thought I would ask.

My grow stand is in my living room and I am planning on putting air conditioning in, in about a month. The air from the AC will not be blowing directly on the plants, but they may feel the effects directly by means of a cooler breeze. If they do feel the effects, it will not be very much at all since the AC is pointed in another direction.

Does anyone know if the air from AC is detrimental to orchids? Any secondary issues like a chemical or something that I should be aware of? If there is a problem then I will cancel the AC
