Just as amazing as usual. And here I sit at my desk, with a teeny little Drac lotax gifted to me. Keeping it close by so I can stare at it for the slightest sign of a problem. Probably going to stare it to death. I don't know how you do it. :bowing:bowing:bowing

Sir, thank you for taking the time to show us your little bit of paradise. I eagerly await your next posts. One question, how do you keep the vigorous "thugs" from taking over in your microenvironments? I've never grown micro orchids. I do reasonably well with phals, vandas and the usual suspects though. And dandelions, really well with dandelions.

Is this the same little nubbin of microscopic bud we've been watching?!?

---------- Post added at 10:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:21 PM ---------- In nanojungles nano-work, unfortunately, the clock is not nano, but the usual one, for such work  I suddenly lost 2 utricularias. The third remained, U. pebescens (humpbacked). But all sprouted with moss, I decided to weed. There is no other way to remove moss. Given: a mound of moss with rudiments of clogged utricularia. https://i.ibb.co/GQ2MGNZ/IMG-20210529-164829.jpg https://i.ibb.co/f9Pcv3J/IMG-20210529-164811.jpg https://i.ibb.co/TTy3YGF/IMG-20210529-165514.jpg Weeding started https://i.ibb.co/314kMXm/IMG-20210529-164840.jpg Fast post is printed, but not fast weeding moves https://i.ibb.co/1shB3HW/IMG-20210529-164831.jpg https://i.ibb.co/nkyN505/IMG-20210529-170322.jpg It's finished. The microscope would have done it more carefully. https://i.ibb.co/J31QQRZ/IMG-20210529-171551.jpg It turned out that these were not pubescens, but sandersonii, after weeding. Well, or the moss clogged the pubescens so much that it degraded into an earlier form of development. Just a nanophoto of a peduncle of one comrade ;) https://i.ibb.co/cXvqqX3/IMG-20210529-173433.jpg Well, I'm just bragging, sometimes 200 💵 looks like this  https://i.ibb.co/5B9hLHr/IMG-20210529-174142.jpg |
So the cardinal's guard just suddenly Voilą! with the sword? Or the photographer fell asleep at his post?
That looks like the kind of tedious weeding I do in my wildflower area I'm trying to establish. Except mine is a lot bigger space, much harder on the knees, while yours looks like a whole lot of eyestrain. Speaking of which... I found out I need cataract surgery. Wanna come visit? |

---------- Post added at 04:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:06 PM ---------- Thank @Akenathe for the nano-nano details.. hahaha. I am dying to get some moss like that and it seems you have more than what you need. |
Akhenatin, all you need are some micro-frogs and a micro-serpent or two!
|
WaterWitchin, better you come to us :)
We have a cataract operation with the best artificial lens for today (PanOptics Alcon) will cost $ 1300-1400 per one eye. SADE2020, thank you, but this moss does not grow where it should, but grows where it should not :) bellflory2, thanks for the offer, but I have enough micro-predators :) Utricularies :) |

Probably better stay here, because my Medicare and ChampVA should cover the cost. But I will note the artificial lens name and ask about it! :bowing |
