Default Dendrobium bellatulum

A miniature from the section Formosae. Growing in South-East Asia at altitudes between 1000 and 2100m. This is actually my favourite Den!

I've had this little guy since January and have been keeping it outside since mid-April. Grows cool to intermediate but likes very bright light. Mine is in full sun for a few hours every day from mid to late morning. Water with care. Likes to be watered well in the mornings, but must preferably be dry by evening. Benefits from a winter rest as well.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks Carrie! For some the lip is really yellow, but this one has a lot of the red bleeding into it. And I meant to say that it has a scent - not something that you can smell from a distance, but up close it smells very strongly of honey (or something equally sweet).

Default Update!

First time I've had three flowers open at the same time. A reliable grower and bloomer - and still very much my favourite.
