This plant is too beautiful for me not to post it in this thread. It is blooming at Orchid Center in Waianae, Hawaii. They had it tagged as a keeper. I can see why. The flowers look like cherry blossoms from afar. The plant is in a 3-inch clay pot.

Displays such as this are truly remarkable....and fully explain how my bank account empties out after every orchid show I attend

I wish I could find these varieties to buy. I have been looking in the Orchid Mall for growers in Hawaii but so far have not seen any except the "common" anosmum. (Which I already have).

Here are some nurseries you might want to try:
Hanalei Orchids on Kauai (808-822-0239), Olomana Orchids on Oahu (808-239-8111) and Orchid Center on Oahu (808-696-2974).

Those are stunning. Mine are several years from blooming being keiki gifts from friends.
