Question raspberry fragrance in nobile?

I'm familiar with the the claim that anosmum and parishii dendrobiums smell like raspberries, but I can't find any information that would suggest that it applies to nobile types. I got a den. yukidaruma "The King" at a recent orchid club auction, and I'd swear that it has the most wonderful raspberry fragrance. I know fragrances can vary widely with cultural conditions and an individual's nose, but it still seems weird that I can't find a mention of this anywhere. Has anyone else experienced raspberry fragrance in nobile types?

Default nobile type vs. nobile species

After posting this, I did further research and realized my question made no sense. I incorrectly assumed that nobile types were hybrids of den. nobile, but it turns out, if I have it correct now, that nobile types are just orchids that have the pendulous canes that lose their leaves in the winter. Parishii, anosmum, and yukidaruma are all nobile types, but they are not nobile. Thus, any orchid that is a nobile type is a noid, unless the specific parentage is given, and not a den. nobile. If there is anything I'm still confused about, please let me know.

Still can't find any reference to yukidaruma smelling like raspberries, but mine definitely does.

I’ve grown Yukidaruma’The King’ in the past and, in fact, just purchased one yesterday. I’ve never noticed a raspberry fragrance on any dendrobiums other than anosmum.

Dendrobium is a huge genus with many species. Botanists have divided the genus into Sections of related species. Hobbyists use the term "nobile Dens" to refer to species and hybrids in what botanists call Dendobium section Dendrobium. This includes Den. anosmum, nobile, parishii, primulinum and many other species. A good place to read about them is the Internet Orchid Species Photo Encyclopedia, orchidspecies.com .
