Inobulbon (Dendrobium) munificum
Here's another oddball that has been lumped into Dendrobium. Inobulbulbon munificum has very fascinating hairy pseudobulbs - the "tresses" become more pronounced as the p-bulb ages, after the blooming. I grow it outside, and it is thriving, though it would probably do even better with a little shelter (like an unheated greenhouse). My winter temps usually are in the low 40's F (4-6 deg C), occasionally lower. I grow it fairly shady.

That's the hairiest Dendrobium I've ever seen! Taxonomist must have been drinking, in my humble opinion!

I would dearly like to know what taxonomists come up with when they're drunk.
