Not dead yet!
For those who are too eager to "tidy up" your plants... I want to share my Den. glomeratum (sulawesiense) - it blooms off old canes, repeatedly. I have circled the buds that are just developing on canes that look quite dead. This is a genus with a lot of plants that do this.
