Default Den farmeri

Despite the best efforts of the USPS (who left the box on top of a snow drift), the Dendrobiums I received from Equagenera in early March were in good condition. Den farmeri is the first to bloom:

Maybe the cold was the shock it was waiting for! Scared it into blooming.

Whatever it was, I am not complaining about 4 flower spikes.

That's great! Mine from them at about the same time shows no signs of blooming.

Thumbs up

Super! Am paying much more attention to Dens(acquiring more that is) as my first success with one is now in bloom-chrysotoxum. So yellow and fragrant. Farmeri could be next.

That's an excellent blooming. I like the egg yolk yellow lip.

Yes, the lip is distinctive.

I have had this species before. That plant had more of a pink tint to the petals & sepals.
