Default Dendrobium kingianum bumps?
Hello! New here and fairly new to orchids other than phalaenopsis.

I have a kingianum who put on new growth and on that cane it has these bumps. My first reaction was scale since I’ve been battling that on other plants 😫
But these do not come off and appear to be a part of the plant. You can see it looks like there is a dried bump on the old cane.

Thoughts??

Hi, I don't have a kingianum but if I'm not mistaken those are flowering bud sites that should emerge in spring next year.

Yes, that is where flowers or keikiis (new plantlets) may originate.
