This is Paphiopedilum Hsinying Luke.
It is half godefroyae, and the other half is mostly concolor, but with a little bit of bellatulum.

It'll most likely be white flower with small spots all over, but I love seeing buds and spikes, so this is fun!

The pot it is in is only 2.5 inch, so the plant is very small.

If you want mini paphs, buy a mature sized or in sheath plants because even these brachys can get quite big.
Especially bellatulum and concolor, and even niveum can get large!

I find that the plant size really varies quite a bit.

For guaranteed mini paphs are probably thaianium, but it's still quite pricy and not so common.
Godefroyae for the most part tend to stay quite small and I think this hybrid in this post took up that gene, luckily.

Micranthum, armeniacum are usually quite tiny, although the length of the leaves can get quite long on certain plants, they are still quite small and stay that way.

Then there are henryanum (this can also vary vastly, from tiny to quite big), barbigerum...fairrieanum ( also variable but wish you luck!

So try some images of these paphs and see what flowers you like and go for those.

Love watching the development of paph blooms - this is exciting. Can't wait to see more as it progresses!

You forgot about the one and only Paph. helenae.

Oh, and I love watching buds, which is why I'm amazed when one of my Paphs manages to sneak up a bud behind my back.
