Default Bellatulum...I'd Givin up!
I didn't think Anything was happening with this flower bud Its taken it Forever to get just a bit out

two weeks ago, I put it a bit closer to the light, and Presto....its now finally emerging





so Happy with this... it even has tiny hairs on the flower bud!

Don't be alarmed if the spike doesn't get much taller. That is very typical of this species. I've seen growers who specialize in Paphs prop the spike up with a styrofoam peanut, or even a cotton ball. The flower is huge compared to the length of the spike.

I was wondering about that I 'm just going to sit on my hands and let it do its own thing

Seems its now picking up speed in the growing department, and I'll post more when it opens
