Default "Imelda" is done but gives new Fan life and Henrietta Fujiwara spiking bud

ahh Imelda finally lost her last shoe a few weeks ago and this was what she looked like with a double spiking plant with a total at one time of almost 7 shoes on

...Thats why I call her Imelda is she had so many shoes , but hey she not done yet!!! got a Nubbin growing..make me so happy!!!

shes not done bad for a 12.00 novelty paph from IKEA of all places..In fact both slippers I got from IKEA are doing fine as the other one has new nubbin also ...

but its paph time at my house!!!..wow..a paph henrietta fujiwara is now got a fuzzy bud!!!..

the sequential bloomers are such fun to see how many shoes you can get on one foot ....

Really cool. I've got my first re-bloom from a paph budding at the momment and it's so exciting

Looking good that you have a new growth on the first one. Paphs seem really slow to grow but any new growth is always good

update "Imelda" is now have 2 fans growing..she bloomed both fans last time....and slow indeed this one but the other novelty paph dropped its last bloom 3 months ago and just this month started new growth and I was ready to give it up for done...Made the mistake of yanking a yellow leaf off underneath .it was protecting a little fan so I been very careful since then not yanking dead looking leaves off anything, dead or not they still have purpose if they are strongly attached and not loose rotten and falling off Im learning!!
