Default Paph lowii growth, an update

A while ago I posted a picture of my Paph lowii, and asked if a nubbin visible on transillumination was a sheath or a leaf.

Well, the consensus was leaf, and it peaked out about a month ago and looked leafy enough.

But boy were we all wrong. Check out what just popped out of that "leaf" yesterday.

THat is too cool. I bet you weren't anxious about it though because you thought it was just a leaf. Woo-hoo, can't wait to see this bloom.
How do you do a time lapse thingy?

to do time lapse you just need to keep the camera and the plant still, and take pictures at fixed intervals. then you just make them into an animated gif (or whatever format you want).

but that would imply a lot of things I don't have...tripod, time, etc. and I carry my plants back and forth to the sink to water them, so keeping the pot in the same place is not going to happen.

it would be neat though.

Sounds like I would not be able to do it either. Especially that keeping things still part and turning it into a gif. Beats me

C'mon guys, this doesn't need to be a seamless National Geographic production Few pictures at various stages will do just fine.
