Default Paph Deperle x Wellesleyanum repotting?

Another $20 plant from the Emerald City Orchids' Mother's Day clearance rack (sale through tomorrow!). When I look at this, I see an an older plant that has had some leaf death, but I am very beginner on these plants. I count 5 nodes on the plant where growth died off, though the existing fan seems healthy. It's in a 4" pot. I have it segregated from my other orchids, but my initial question is whether I should repot it into a smaller pot, given how small the surface plant is. I haven't checked out the roots but feels firmly rooted in the medium. Other suggestions on rehab are obvs welcome as well!

It does look healthy. The best Paph growers I know say they like to repot every year. This medium looks older than that.

Good call - a mess of grotty roots but three good ones still there, now nicely settled in fresh medium in a smaller pot.
