I can't believe the bull%^&# sellers on ebay get away with when it comes to their auctions of orchids..
I mean misrepresentation of an item can mean a buyer can return the item and request/receive a refund [through some Ebay process I can't think of now].

I agree....and then I don't end up refunding because of my losses from shipping and handling.
My advice for auctions is to get a picture of the plant before you bid.
