Some 3-4 years ago, when Cal-Orchids last visited NJ, this was one of the plants they brought (meristems in 3" pot).

I am not particularly interested in pelorics, but my co-tenant insisted that I buy it, since he had already spent his allowance. I noticed it budding late last summer, but I could not find any photos on line.

The peloric quality is not 100% stable, as between the 4 spikes on this first bloom plant, there were a couple of flowers that were not peloric, and 2 or 3 where only one sepal showed the trait.

This plant is growing in a 5" or 6" plastic pot, in my regular mix (with abt 30% composted manure).

This unstable aspect of peloric meristems is rather common, unfortunately.
